One of my favourite things in the world is to come alongside people and help them toward wholeness within themselves and within relationships. Should you choose me to be your counsellor, I would have the privilege of being entrusted with your story. Together we would seek to understand your experience and behaviour and figure out how to move forward. Through collaboration and a toolbox full of strategies we get to participate actively in the process of transformation. I live by the philosophy that no matter the circumstances, there is always hope.

I chose to become a counsellor because of the great freedom I gained from personally being counselled. I would love to offer this same gift to others. I am not currently in practice, but when I am, I am registered with and accountable to an official regulatory association in BC.

I welcome individuals of all ages, as well as couples. My Masters degree is in Theological Studies and I would be happy to offer counselling from a Christian perspective upon request. I use an integrative approach, drawing from various treatment modalities as appropriate. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic or Insight-Oriented Therapy, Relationship Counselling, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Sensory Motor Psychotherapy.

A little bit about me: I am South African but Vernon BC is "home." I am married to a wonderful man named Colin and we have a beautiful toddler, Hannah, and a smiley baby boy, Jonathan. Some of my favourite things to do are read, bake, and travel to new places, and we enjoy hours of board games with our friends. I am an introvert and yet I love people and I would love to meet you.
