Individual Services
There are many reasons people come for counselling. Sometimes they are not even sure what they need. The thought of counselling can be intimidating, especially if you do not know what to expect or if you have had a bad experience. I encourage you to come as you are and we can take it from there. I like to decide on our goals together in the first session and adjust them as necessary through the process.

Couple Services
Sometimes couples get stuck relating in unhealthy ways. I would love to meet with you to help you get "unstuck" and learn new skills for a happier, healthier relationship. My heart is for relationship and it would be my privilege to walk alongside you in this difficult time. When continuing in your relationship is no longer possible, I would be honoured to journey down a path of healing with you.
I have completed the Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and I highly recommend this approach. It uses research-based assessments and tools to help you engage in constructive conflict management, increase friendship, intimacy, and positive affect, and create shared meaning as a couple.
Please contact me to find a time that works for both of you to meet me to discuss our way forward.
Note: I prefer to schedule 90 minutes when meeting with a couple.
Youth
Youth Services
Most youth just want to be heard. I offer a safe, non-judgemental place for youth to voice their concerns and struggles, and explore who they are and what they want from life. Adolescence is a crucial time when people make life-shaping decisions and I can offer tools for making these decisions well. Having someone walk with you for a season encouraging and equipping you is sometimes all you need.
Some reasons to seek counselling that are common during adolescence:
Anxiety
Body Image
Decisions
Depression
Peer Pressure
Eating Disorders
Identity
Low Self-Esteem
Parent Issues
Relationship Issues
